Through Express Entry: If you have an active Express Entry profile and qualify for both the province's Provincial Nominee Program stream and a federal Express Entry program, you apply to the province for a nomination first. If you get nominated, you get 600 points, which really improves your chances of getting an invitation for permanent residence.
2. Through Non-Express Entry: If you qualify for the province's Provincial Nominee Program stream, you apply for a nomination first. Once you receive a provincial nomination, you must apply for permanent residence through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

Alberta PNP: The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) focuses on workers in sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, construction, aviation, tourism, and technology. Alberta also prioritises candidates with strong ties to the province or job offers from Alberta employers.
